VASP and Professional Services FAQ
What is the Veeam Accredited Service Partner (VASP) program?
The VASP program identifies a select list of partners, system integrators and IT consultants who possess the technical skills to deliver value-added and reliable professional services for Veeam product implementations. Tech Data is one of only four partners in the UK who are accredited VASP partner, and the ONLY distributor.
Does Tech Data have its own Professional Services team?
Yes. Tech Data’s Professional Services team supports Veeam Accredited Service Partners to build and deliver their own professional service business. We help partners succeed by providing guidance to expand their technical capabilities, support on projects and oversight to ensure high-quality implementations.
Does Veeam sell professional services?
No, Veeam does not sell professional services. The Veeam Professional Services team is solely focused on supporting the Veeam Accredited Service Partner (VASP) program. If you require technical services, contact the Tech Data PS team:
[email protected].
Is the engagement of a VASP required for Veeam product implementations?
The engagement of a VASP is strongly recommended, but it is not required. Customers are free to self-install, request assistance from a preferred partner, or engage a VASP for assistance. Matching the approach to meet project budget and timelines gives Veeam customers flexibility to control the time-to-value (TtV) of a Veeam solution. However, Tech Data are here to do the work for you so contact the Tech Data PS team:
